Welcome to First Street Family Health!
Join us in our new building next to Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center.
We are now located at 910 Rush Drive. Our physicians serve the health care needs of Salida, Buena Vista, Leadville, Chaffee and Fremont Counties, as well as the San Luis Valley. We provide health care for men, women, pregnancy, seniors, infants and children.
The community’s continued choice for health care.
First Street Family Health serves patients of all ages and has for over 50 years. We are not only a tradition, but the continued choice for accessible medical care.
Balance of tradition and technology
We are proud of our deep roots and yet maintain a progressive practice by using technology that has become standard in our industry. Our use of electronic medical records is one example. We are the first clinic in the valley to use electronic medical records. We started in 2002 and remain the only clinic to use this technology today. This means less papers, easier access to your medical information, and reduces medical errors.
Quality health care and accessibility.
Convenience is important, so we offer same day appointments, evening and weekend clinic hours. Plus, our physicians provide 24-hour on-call service to advise clinic patients about urgent medical conditions. Online scheduling, from this website, is an option for those who prefer it.
Health care services beyond annual physicals.
At First Street Family Health we provide more than physicals.
- Specializing in preventive medicine
- Urgent care including bone injuries, fevers, and infections
- Skin care including cancer checks, mole changes, warts
- Sprains, fractures, and broken bones
- Hospital and Nursing Home care
We provide these services, often at a lower cost than physicians specializing in these areas. Check with your health care provider before going somewhere else for services.
Convenience – Consistency – Cost
At First Street Family Health we see the big health care picture and how all of the pieces go together.
And we understand the connections…..
- the effect one part of the body has on another
- the flow of one life phase into another
- the impact life has on health
- the consistency of one health care provider
- the relationship between family members we serve
We support these connections through coordination with you and other health care providers.
